There’s no such things as normal wear and tear for rooftop anchors. They either work or they need to be replaced.
Skyline installs new anchors AND replaces old anchors, especially during a retrofit or reroof process. If your building’s roof is 20 to 30 years old, so are the anchors. Old anchors are likely galvanized or powder coated steel products firmly in the deterioration process.
Do you know if the last anchors are up to par with current OSHA standards? Do you trust your life with old anchors? Probably not. Our fall protection technicians have load-tested decades-old anchors and find routinely find too much deflection for current standards.
If this sounds like your anchors, tell us about your current situation and we’ll remove your old equipment, install new Skyline anchors and make your building OSHA compliant for the current year.
